The Matrix (20956km): Lea told me I had do some team stuff, thanks for the heads up lea, Norman put in a great effort to help in difficult conditions! Swagger injured himself getting his wetsuit on.
RedSurfBus (12504km): Really shouldnt drink on warfarin, was spitting out blood today so cut the session short. Got bruises on my feet of all places as well :S Dont know what the Matron is on about. | ||||||||||||||||||
Normski (7844km): Was planning on fitting in an hour or so on the water before dusk. That hour turned out to be a full on and hang on, so as to help bump up the team's GPS team challenge postings for this month. Not the fastest hour for me, but not bad considering the conditions....unfortunately had a couple of fall ins! Don't normally use the IS 86 board with such a small sail (5.5m), but it coped well in the westerly chop with the mast track forward a tad. Wind on the wall was gusting over 40knts at times! All credit to Pete, who hung on to his 7m, having already sailed close to 100Km!
Jim Crossley (5677km): A quick test of the new 7.0
Goostaff (2301km): I've had some really bad luck recently with sessions and equipment and it was good to get a fun sail in without any complications. New Board the Formula 161 is nice, much more edgy and on the rail than my previous board but once I think I get the hang of it all will be good. The ancient sail also works better on the wide tail carbon boom I've got but the boom needs a decent head on it. All in all a fun session and pleased to get over 28 knots on the vmax. Jonny was going well on his medium slalom and it was fun trying to keep up!! |
