Dogfish (14874km): Super windy in the harbour, 3.7m all day, managed to miss the giant squall, thankfully!! looking forward to seeing everyones results - fingers crossed!! Scotty
Goostaff (2301km): Well we consider 30-35 knots WSW the ideal forecast for this place, and today that was exactly what was forecast. In the end the wind quality made things unsailable although I was pleased to get a couple of hours of exercise. Arrived at 8.45am, the wind looked ok so rigged the small slalom and 5.8. On the water it was a different story with huge patches of 1-2 Beaufort and the odd gust of 25 knots here and there. Just about possible to get going in a gust and then you would stop and sink!!! Jonny arrived a little later and used his 7m but I don't think he had much luck either! Formula sailing is best for this place without a doubt!
Woodbutcher (2790km): new mast and sail please.should have worked on the house instead.
Woody (1630km): | ||||||||||||||||||
Ian Richards (18353km): Stoked for Ant Todd  breaking the 40 knots, has been stuck on 39 for quite a few sessions. Tom and Swagger better luck next time. Not a great speed day, but fun as always on the Ray.
Jim Crossley (5677km): Gusty as hell
Ant (5703km): Super stoked with a new pb of max 1sec 41.04 kn.. what a day started of in morning not being able to water start and loosing the will to live, then once the wind filled in i come away with 4 new pb's, Max 2 sec 40.9, 100m 40.59, 250m 39.1, Average 36.94 crazy!. The Black Project S 24 fin felt awesome in the Isonic 49w it gave a nice amount of lift and really secure feeling. thanks to Ian for the advise to sail at the top end of the course to get a better angle.. cheers man! yet another good fun day on the Ray. |
