Recycle (17196km): Short but intense sail at Leighton with Ado for company. iso87/7.0/f1 32
Chris Adamson (14466km): Challenging sail out of Port Beach with Recycle. There was a bit of swell around and plenty of wind, probably nudging 25 knots, which is on the limit for my 76kg with the 7.0. That was a good fun workout and well done to Norts on nailing a a gutsy 34 peak in those conditions. Looks like plenty more sailing coming up over the next week and leading into the BIG ONE on Saturday week. Manta 59, Warp 7.0, Talon 32
JC (5181km): Pelican Point, WA, AU A gusty and very lumpy Peli. Couldn't quite find the groove in the conditions. Nice to chat to some of the lads and also a cameo appearance from Mr Engdahl ! R3 6.2 IS 86 C3 28
Slowboat (49283km): Melville. Groundhog day... again... punished by flu for the last week feeling pretty ordinary today so decided not to push it. 7.0m M112 CLSL2- 30 Some nice gusts coming through. Lots of happy faces and pretty flat water. Fastest run on the way out second fastest coming in... and so on. Craw has a Crazy story to tell
Sammy the snail (29353km): Shark Bay, Boobays 22-24 knts Felt better today, my shoulder did fine but my bum give me drama to rig up and walking in water!! 2 out of the 3 cheese holes lined up today, but had to wait, and wait. Tide went too low when the wind was still in the wrong direction, so waited for an hour and half to come up at the launching pad, then I had a 30mins window to get the 5 run in. I was so worried to hurt myself that I was going to stop when got the 38 at the 3 rd lap, then pushed myself to do the 5x10. So happy to made it safe! The 40 was there, juste not me today. The wind is been moving a lot, making the runs touch and go. Maybe tomorrow, going to be epic (thats worry me), like yesterday but tide coming later.. may have to do this in 2 sessions.. I ll try to push it Good to see the brick at the start, the launch pad dead tree and sand point marker are still in place Misty41, RSR5m, Delta19 - I just love the small kit
Claude (28076km): Mandurah, Liptons with Yoyo, Cheryl and Decrepit, started on slalom board with a 28 weed fin scraping the bottom in the shallows, changed to speed board for a while and Yoyo loaned me a smaller fin but wind not quite strong enough for this gear, great spot just need the right set up, SS 49 / RRD 90, 6.2 Reflex 4, 28 Choco weed, Yoyo speed weed fin.
25 (14457km): Melville Beach, WA, AU enjoying a nice sail at Melville until i noticed a small split in the monofilm in a high skin tension area. Took the wise option and flagged it - bugger - counted a 29 and 32 in the 5 x 10. RSR E4 7.0, Xfire V4 98, 28 MxR UFO30. |
