Was Jeffs turn to give me a whipping sailed rings round me most of the day as I plodded along waiting for the wind to kick in, Had to pump to get on the plane after each jibe. Was a great work out all the same. Did snag a couple of good runs late in the day that make it all worth while. Isonic 87 Koncept 6.6 28 Lessacher duo weedie

Got there as Tricky and Simon were rigging up. Was marginal wind so tried the upright fin and was suprised how good it was. We sailed around waiting for the wind to build for a long while. Tricky was under done on the 87, being patient and eventually the wind did pick up and made the day worthwile.

Fingers crossed for Saturday.

07-01-14 Boggy Lake-S 18-22 knots-Simmer Monster 100-Loft Blade 7m-C3 Sting 2 36cm

Sailed x2 blocks of 1 hour sessions seperated by 10 mins. Only tweaked sail to lower eyelet (makes big difference) and moved front footstrap up one hole position on starboard side (really struggling to hold it all together this tack - actually made it comfortable)

1st session 1 hour = 21.663 knots and 11 gybes

2nd session 1 hour = 21.679 knots and 15 gybes   Couple of tweaks just enabled better overall control with 7m at top end range.

Loving my Monster 100 btw:-)

Bit over powered fin and sail and not confortable should have made more of the day. HSM Speed Demon 8.5m Patrick 145 BPJ 44 Freeride
