Great day heaps of people there, I counted 8 up at top end sailing around. My sailing however felt like crap. Hope to get it together for Wed as will be back at Lake George with Jamie cranking some distance maybe?

Occassionally underdone but almost always planing, with a few really good gusts. top corner was really set up some awesome port gybes. more wind than the BOM forcast rewarded the big turnout lot with a great sessio. lots of familiar faces, made it feel like the old days.

Messaged Richard and suggested Wednesday for sailing 'cause today looked marginal but after lunch was bored so packed the gear and headed to the local spot. There was a fishing boat stuck on the bare spit, unusual site, and they were there for six hours. Struggled to get planing for a good hour but kept at it and slowly the wind built up and got going. A lot of weed today getting caught on the upright fin so in for a weedy and back out. Simon and Garfunkle were out, struggling as well. Garfunkle broke a boom and headed in for a replacement. Wore the 30 year olds out and after they went in it was just me and a kite surfer. Practiced gybing late on the higher chop and was happy with the SXS. You didn't miss anything today Tricky, just a work out.

Good turnout and a fun arvo had by all. Stuggled for power at times and found out when de-rigging i had over downhauled the 6.6m. Still felt great on the water but lost it's belly and top end. Still a fun session.

Thought i was going to have a good sail new fin was working great but i got to the top had 1 run then went slat and something happened to my second batten loosing all tension and that totally screwed up the shape of the sail and made it almost unsailable no low end center of effort moved to the back of the boom so struggle back Pitty as the New Techart carbon fin was working well and i wanted to test it out with some powered up downwind runs.
