3927 days ago Sandy Point, Vic, AU, a decent dose of flatwater sailing today. Arrived at low tide at the inlet and went first out with the Rocket in Slalom trim (two back straps), not bad a few 31s but upwind was a struggle with the rough water slalom fin fitted. Swapped to the Futura after 45 mins and stayed on it for the rest of the session and felt really comfortable. Nice runs with the Moreton Bay boys who came down from QLD. Was the typical short chop upwind later with the tide running in and I started cramping up, time to pack up. Water was surprisingly cool. Some ripper gybes at the end of the strip, shame as usual they don't show in the Alpha, gybing up the top was challenging due to coverage from the dunes and on-off wind.
