Best windsurf I've had for a while. Blue water, sun, a fairly consistent 15-25 knots and a beer and meal afterwards with the wife Smile No complaints. New 4 batten Ezzy wave sail lived up to all the hype. Feels slightly different to the 5 batten - A bit more power but a little slower in top speed. Still very stable and very light.

 

1) Ezzy 5.8m Panther, 3S106 and 30cm Vector FreeSlalom fin 2)Ezzy 5.3m Elite, 3S86 and 25.5cm FSW fin.

Mentone, VIC, AU, nice late morning session with Ian, very enjoyable. FB indicated E, but Mentone was X shore, easy to clear the No Swimming marker to keep the Lifeseavers happy. Could be a good option if we cant sail Ricketts in E. Great runs with the barge and the Cheetah (I love this sail!!). Almost flatwater inside. Had legs to stay on but wind gave away at around 1:30.

Looks that the E was stronger down there, I have great memories at Area 45 in E. Good numbers Evan, Go Ezzy!!

Yeah, it often is on a easterly. I wasn't confident we would get much in the bay so looks like a drive to Invy was the right choice this time

Naz, cheers. The 4 batten didn't feel as fast as the 5.8 ezzy wave I initially rigged, but not far off. I was quite surprised too. Got it for bump n jump in the bay but was keen to try it on the flat water. Jerry, yeah the 106 was the speed, the 86 the alpha. I'll stop making you look good now :-) I'm in for bonno or GP if windy enough.
