Wisselende omstandigheden vandaag. Eerst zeker genoeg wind maar de windrichting zorgde voor veel water en veel chop. Het leek wel rodeo soms. Later draaide de wind iets en toen kon ik wat snellere runs maken. Nieuwe Warp in combi met FF51 en Hotrod loopt prima, ook op lastig IJsselmeerwater. Helaas zakte later op de middag de wind teveel in. Al met al een prima middag met goed gezelschap.

Mooie 'afterwork' sessie, bij aankomst op Makkum Beach giga golven en zware windstoten, besloten om de 5.6 op te tuigen, achteraf iets te klein, ook in combi met de W54.... desondanks een mooie namiddag gehad, met laatste pufje wind net op tijd terug op het strand. Zondag ronde #2 :)

When I arrived the wind was completely turned on. Surfed for 5 minutes and made my fastest run through the chop whilst sailing almost half-wind. Then the wind left and did not really come back. We had a nice afternoon though! There was not a lot of rain, most of it passed us by.

Weird session at La Franqui. This morning at 10 pm there was no wind in contrast to the predictions. So returned to the cottage disappointed. Suddenly at 12.00 the wind picked up again and drove back to the beach. Rigged 5,7m2 and was well powered up. This lasted for 30 minutes, then the wind gradually decreased. After 2 hours the wind disappeared completely. Decided to go back and start packing since we are leaving tomorrow morning. I should have stayed, though, since later on the wind picked up again. But I'm not in the position to complain. I've been here for two weaks and sailed 7 days. One day I didn't sail because the wind was too strong. The atmosphere at La Franqui was great with a lot of familiar and new faces. I hope to get back here soon.
