3848 days ago Started on 6.3 and falcon then the wind kicked in and it went downhill from there couldn't ride my bloody 80 litre and the wind just kicked my ass .finally ended in nice catapult
Called it a day

Goostaff (2301km):
3848 days ago Some strong wind in Cornwall today and relatively good weather. The conditions were pretty hard though as the wind was way too gusty and although 5.8 was fine the on off conditions were very tiring. Really should have worn the summer wetsuit. Interestingly the sail worked much better with less downhaul and once I got things tuned ok I had one ok run (For this place)

3848 days ago 2 categories Southend speed comp! Never really sailed to get 500m before...its a long way at full speed. Had problems with kit as I had all new kit as I had to get a last minute board to use. Spent a lot of time messing about changing things.
Very pleased with a 44.29 500m(PB). Conditions were good and the competition was a real success. These guys really have put a lot of work into organising this and its great that the wind was awesome!

3848 days ago Southend speed weekend day 1... really well organised by the team thanks to all, deserved a better turnout considering the conditions.
was a difficult call what kit to walk out with. took my old 5.8 in the light wind but the wind really kicked in and should of followed Jim who walked backed and changed down. was much faster on smaller kit as the course was quite tight.
still a pb 10 sec and average for Southend I think, and on the old 5.8.
well done Ant , Will and Jim . bad luck on Matty who onlly had 6.3.
gonna hit it again at 5am on smaller kit.
