Eckers (12296km):
3792 days ago Primbee. Missed all the fun last week - trying to redeem myself. Tough day. Started on a 7.5 and 104 l board - couple of reasonable runs then the wind went ballistic. Rigged the 5.8 and the wind died. Rigged the 6.7 and it was just righ for a while till the wind build a bit more, then came in for the 5.8 and 80l board. Felt lovely but after all of the earlier mucking around, no strength left in the arms and could only manage a couple of runs. 2 broken battens - annoying!

Finally got to try the new 5.7m was struggling to hold onto it though and a bit out of practice. Changed to the 5.0m and was much easier to handle but arms were already shot so didn't last long. Nice and sunny with a super flat SW 15-35knts.

6.2RSR 56cm wide slalom Chester, 21 cm carbon weed fins 40degree and 50 degree.
Great conditions today. Its a shame my sail wasn't up for the challenge. The 6.2 has been well used lately. Two middle battens broke through into their cams and the bottom cam broke in two at the rollers. Persevered most of the day with a very flat sail that was a bit low on grunt.

3792 days ago felt ok till my sail tore about 10min in - then it progressively felt uncomfortable and had to give it away
still nice to enjoy some sun and wind

3792 days ago Primbee, NSW, AU big turn out today at primbee, decided to go for speed today using F2 90 and RS6.7 28 weed. board feels extremely fast I'm starting to get comfortable. confidence extremely high til a big stack.. lucky not to break any gear, tired with a sore back, ran a ground at Windang lucky for me at a slower speed. great turn out from the team, tiring day, hard to get comfortable on reaches. very gusty. top speed today was 35.95 which will be a PB for me, but slightly knocked back to 35.73.
hey Michael what size sail were you using?

bushfire (26346km):
3792 days ago Primbee, NSW, AUW swinging to WSW up to 30 knots or so. Quite low water
A tentative start on the 90 but the wind really cranked in, so changed over to the W49. The speed board felt good. Scary chop at the fastest point of the bearaway but the bpbf fin was great - never let go once. It has been a while since I've used this fin, but it rocks!
Spent most of the day swapping between the two boards - the wind was very cyclic.
Great to sail with Ben. I sail on the JP SS109 at the end of the day - still my favourite board! (its now Ben's).

Thanks Glen for the fine tune tomorrow will be the test.

3792 days ago Primbee, NSW, AU. Great day though maybe left it a little late. Congrats on the PBs Tex and Allan.
Has anyone got a spare weedy around (24 - 26 tuttle) that they are happy to sell? Ive been collecting quite a bit of weed under the freeride fin and sliding out a lot.
Tomorrow's conditions are looking promising.
