Greg Kiskarpati (20777km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Pretty happy with the speeds cosidering everything felt crappy today , Gps said 39.5 got knocked down a fair bit , was great to sail with everyone , scarey bare aways , brown shorts stuff , alot of the time was right on the edge , not the normal flat stuff peelie has to offer

Andrew Haigh (50238km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Huge day at Budgewoi. Naish 95sp and 7 year old 6m. I arrived at 10 am thinking I was early, but the hard core guys had been out for 2 hours already. I was rather overpowered to start with and it took me a few runs to build up the confidence. I got a 34.6 and then heard a nasty cracking sound. I pulled up and found the boom holding together by only a few threads of carbon. I headed for home but the extra swell in the channel was too much for it. Leaving me floundering around in the only deep water and an unpleasant swim to shore with waves breaking over my head. With boom no.2 fitted I tried again but this time it was even windier. Even Hugh was waiting for the lulls at times. After lunch I sensed it may have dropped a bit, so headed out for some more punishment. I spent my time waiting for the lulls and hoped to complete my runs before it kicked in again. Finally the GPS showed me a PB of 35.31 which KA72 pumped up to 35.44 to I'm not complaining. On the way home I passed James heading south, I hope he gets a good sail in.
