Slowboat (51908km):  4 categories   Got a leave pass so went to Safety Bay hoping the wind would get at least some south in it. Some nice gusts so rigged 5.5m and M112/TribalSPW27 for the lulls. Had a ball! It stubbornly stayed west making things quite challenging with storm surge. Water flattened out a bit later as the bank drained, but by then I was spent and had to come home. Good turnout for a rainy Sat morning- good to catch up with some of the CST. Nice to sail on the ocean for a change. | ||||||||||||||||||
