Retired Bogan (6747km): Saturday at Lake George love getting down here. NW 15-25 with plenty of lulls later on. Good crew Carl Sam Steve Yetti Michael 5.2 Hellcat on Exercet 58. Was stronger than forecast hope the same will happen tomorrow
Sammy (43276km): Lake George trip. Used new 7.8 simmer SCR for the first time on the 111 and it felt great. Managed a peak of 33.5 on it and also the 24 hour. Awesome sail and was also great later in the day in light winds. Money well spent. Had plenty of power but still really good up top. Got other numbers on 95 falcon with 6.2 blade. Was a fun day with carl, goeff, yetti, nicola and otheres. So far been a great fun trip camping with carl ( barbie) yetti and partner and the kids. Hopefully more to come. Love this place

Dave M (3969km): Goolwa South, SA, AU: Wind: SW 15-20 KA Koncept 6.6 JP Slalom 105, Select Slam 35 As good as it gets in Goolwa, wish i was up to it.. Left home when the wind was NNW, five minutes later it was almost dead rigged and waited, it swung to the SW and kicked back in about 30 minutes later.. short sail in nice conditions
Captain bogan (50690km): Lake George, SA, AU Day 1 - 15 to 25.
With the high water level the lake is choppy similar to boggy but the salt still makes it great fun for gybing😄.
2 sessions - 1st - fanatic falcon 113 / 7.3 gps and black project r375 - did the hour and alpha on this combo as the wind picked up at the end of the hour.
2nd session - Patrik 87 / gps 5.5 and r325 fin.
The highlight of the day was having a drag race with Sam downwind and managed to get a decent gust to get my peak of the day 😄. Only real powered run for the day but great fun 😀.
Sellicks Bogan (7276km): Nice little trip around lake george on saturday, started on the 8.3m 105 falcon and 41 select fin, would have probably done a few more km's if I hadnt broken the mast on the 8.3...sorry Sam, nice hour walk back to camp, had lunch rigged up the 7 mtr reflex and off i went again. good day with everyone on the lake |
