Budgewoi Lake - A day out with the Marauder brothers who were exceptionall friendly and welcoming - thanks fellas.

Didn't have enough wind to go small board and small finds and truly enjoy the buttery smoothness of Budgewoi, but had a blast on the bigger gear in the slightly deeper water.

Liver what size rig did you have, i imagine it would have been a bit lumpy in the middle , Rick was out in the arvo with a 4/7

Hi Keef had a 5.7m up. always crazy swell out near the heads the few times  I have been out that far I saw a few turtles which are potential landmines. we were fully powered up approaching Bowen Island but leaving it lulled for 10 minutes or so hence the wobble in the track. Deep push into Hyams great fun.

thanks for the sail Darren and Martin, that was a lot of fun.and thanks for the lift back  although i am wishing i had of sailed ,there was plenty of wind after the lull to hyams.keef, there was plenty of wind .i got back to huskisson and rigged the 6.6 again at around 4 then sailed to about 6:30.i think i could of easily gone 5.7 but not 4.9.                                                                                                                             Darren if you ever want to go for a big mission again let me know i`m keen.

Yeah back leg was sore, Martin, Rob and I were all whingy when we hit the sand. I used my 93L supercross with just its standard curved fin and more holes than swiss cheese, Rob had a 101L JP Xcite ride and youngy used his 101L tabou rocket.
