Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. That was Farking FANTASTIC FUN! Hope all had as much fun as I did (minus the stacks!)

And I managed 1 long run with both feet in straps for the first time WOO HOO that feels more better!

And a couple of safety stops in 1/2 a chest deep water.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - strong and gusty W'ly 15-30+ in the gusts. Rigged the smallest sail I had which is the 6.0 GPS but it was still too big to handle in the gusts, but OK when it was less. Used the CA 55SL and 19cm MUF as well. Board and fin were good but harness lines were wrong and sail was not comfortable. Tried bearing away but it did not feel safe doing so and on a few occassions I got pulled out of the harness by massive gusts and could not get back in till I slowed right down. A bit disappointing alround...new harness lines coming up to start with.

Plenty of crew out going bloody quick today and looked like some massive speeds were had. They all looked fast today!!

Cheers All.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Unexpected super strong Westerly 15/30+knts. Shallow and Scary flat sections. Found a 2m x 200 x 50 hardwood plank smashing me over the front. I walked back and picked that sucker up and walked down to the Sand bank and dumped it, should get blown aground by the end of the afternoon. Impressive speeds by Froth and Byron with a 43+ on the dial. Heaps of dudes out and the mighty Gal Sue who also smashed a PB. Johnny was loooking good and smashing the laps out. Welldone all in tough conditions. 6.6 koncept 18 Delta and tried 17 which gave me top speed Isonic 50l. Go Marauders!!!!

Late short session after work! missed most of the breeze and it dropped and turned south after about 45 mins which made for a hard slog in!!!

CA 117L, 7.3m loft and 20cm delta.

Good turnout from the sailing community. The lanes must have been jammed up with the turnout there??
