Pelican Point, WA, Patrik 155, Matrix 7.5, MB48

Well, that's a great way to blow away the cobwebs from last night Cool

Didn't think it was going to be that strong so I was pretty powered up and with not much boat traffic I thought I would smash out an hour. Pretty pleased with the results on big gear.

Happy New Year all!

Leighton Beach WA

Fun session on the wave kit, nice and loose going downwind for the naughties.

Footstraps are too wide apart and could do with straps closer to the rail for a better B&J setup.

Board cranks upwind suprisingly well.

Xfire 90/29 speed weed, then Rocket 125/JP 36 weedy. 7.0 Overdrive

It looked promising apart from all the kiters, but the wind slowly dropped offFrown

Couple of hours nicely spent. One of those days where i wasnt fully comfortable but maybe because of the patchyness in the wind.

Not used to the upright fins either, really used to the weedys. Noticed quite a few learners too, kids included. great to see.

Safety Bay, WA, AU 5.8Koncept 85 Sonic 26 then 28 weedy

A fun sail with Leon, Alan and some other friends.

The wind was warm and pleasant but gutless. Never really powered up.

I seem to be regularly getting 16 knot alphas now, so I must be improving.

I'd really like to get 17 knots. 17 is the new 30.

It's not only location, but ability. and enough wind. I haven't been able to manage all three on one day yet.
