Had a fun day with carl , leon shane yetti and andreas. Me and carl were first on the water in a lightning storm. Herd a few cracks above my head. Was windy at the start and just got stronger. When I got to the top in flattish water I found myself well overpowered on the 7m blade 95 litre fanatic and 33 sl7 fin. Was fun but for 20 mins was gusting to maybe 30. Managed one good run with a 38 and a 36.56 10 second but that was the only good run. Still a pb for me on a 7m amd at bog also :-). Pb on the board too me thinks. Then it dropped back a little but still good. Fun day. Carl looked super cumfy on his new patrick. Looked awesome flying around

Decided the conditions were right for a go at the hour and so it proved to be. A westerly of about 15 knots enabled long S - N runs so fewer jibes. Had I not run aground on a jibe at the southern end my result would have been slightly better. Starting in ankle deep water by hanging off the boom was a new experience. The weedie fin was put to the sword scraping along the limestone below. 6m Gaastra on ISonic 94 with weedie was just right and not too taxing.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 15 - 30 knots

Good to catch up and sail with the crew.  1st sail of the year and also haven't been out for a while so good to have a blast .  Pretty loaded on the 6.6 but had some fun runs in gusty conditions.
