SXs 90, GPS 6.6, BP28 weedy

Arrived after lunch to meet Tricky and Jason rigged and ready to sail. Wanted to set the 5.5 but the forecast wind hadn't arrived, so out with the 6.6. Faffed around for a while with settings out on the water and settled in.  Some nice runs heading in with the sea furrows and a good afternoons sailing.

Stansbury forcast was good tossed up 5.8 or 6.6 mmmm  Jason said no guts no glory so 6.6 Koncept it was on the Isonic 87 & the reliable Lessacher 28 duo weedi had a nice session but did struggle to plane out of the jibes,(good call on the 6.6) the tide was not as low & the water ruffer but still a great day. The wind kicked in a bit & a change down was on the cards, Hoppy was acting as shark bait leaving a blood trail & decided a drink & patch up was in order. back on the shore Jason called it quits & Hoppy & I decided that we were too lazy to chang down sail size, the tide was well on the way in & the water would get messy quicky , as we had the best of it allready, a frothie & some BS was the go. a early pack up, nice end to a super sail.

LG from muddy 5mile, SSE solid,

F2 xs misssile, 25 vector weedy, 4.9 Loft blade,

got there after work and all the crew where at the 5mile,  first person I seen was sammy...

looked solid but low water and not very good weed, set outhaul a bit tight for a look on the first run then backed it off second run and bam my peak straight away .....after that was stuck in the 41's and then Sammy said Oh No what a problem and we had a good laugh about it.

 the 5mile mud just sucks is stinky shit will be over at cockys tmro where its solid bottom no matter what.....be on the water again after work at 4.

 3 SA speed demons sailing with me at LG and I was the slowest............think maybe need a smaller fin for a bit more speed.

Lake George from 5 mile with a big crew from all over Aust.  Wind 20 -30 knots.

Great to meet some new faces.  Pb for the 5.5 and took most of the day to get it - but very happy i did.

Stuck in the mid to high 41's until i had one run that i timed right and it all came together.

Great fun with a good crew and happy to see some PB's come out as usual from the golden lake.

Happy birthday to my eldest girl Jessica and thank you for letting me out on you birthday - Love you heaps .

Maybe time for a one hour and alpha if the wind is light enough tomorrow ...

First  real sail in 12 months so  not  a lot  of  sail fitness  but had great  time. 

Nice  to  meet  catch  up with  everyone. Conditions  not that  good as there's not much  weed.
