3585 days ago Lake George, SA, AU. Started earlier today as the wind was getting stronger. Used a 5.5 GTX and 93L Carbon Art with a smaller fin which worked well, but needed a smaller sail. Only sailed for a short while as it was very strong and deceptive with gusts. Fewer people and great to see the 2 Pit Crew guys going for the world distance record. They are awesome!

3585 days ago Lake George, SA, AU A shorter sail than yesterday, and definitely windier. SE at 20-27k, but felt more challenging. Bill, Ella and Anton showed up today with good timing for the wind. If I had the energy I would have rigged down to a 5.0. Too many reds the night before didn't help.
Sussed out the spot on the other side a bit, and tried a few bearaways, but the run back in was flatter.Very windy and choppy in the middle and the far side looked very shallow and not always flat. 79,23, 5.5.
Good luck to Matt and Kato on the 24hr. Pretty awesome sailing from these guys in such challenging winds.
