Lake George, SA, AU

Same as yesterday but choppier. 6.0 GPS and the Yellow Sub which is now getting pretty beaten up but will last the trip with some maintenance.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU.SSW/SSSSSW 15/25 in the end. Wind took a while to kick in today, and by that time, motivation was gone. Lake was so high and super choppy. Rigged 6.6 Koncept at first and wind had died. Then rigged 7.5 Koncept with 115 Patrik and 22 Delta slalom and went out with that. Bobbed around for an hour and came in for lunch. Wind picked up again and went out with 6.6 Koncept 92 Patrik and 18 Delta. Soon died and came in to take the 7.5 back out, when it kicked in again. Over it in the end and went to the pub with Froth, best move I made all day. XXXX Gold was so sweet!! My shout next time Froth. Good to hang out with the regulars.

Massive congrats to Anton with some amazing Pbs along with Chris. Gabe awesome numbers to mate. Welldone all!!!!

Very well deserve Anton!!!

GO MARADERS!!!! Loooking forward to more LG posts from you lucky Bitches down there!!! HAAAA. Kick ASS!!!!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Quick sail after work with Byron, I tried my new 6.6m KA but should have gone bigger as I spent most of time off the plan but felt good when I got a few gusts, Very bumpy today!!!. 6.6m KA , 100L CA and 23 cm JP weedy.

Windy again! Body's getting a good workout too. Pete Rob and Chris, Bill Ella and Anton and I were the only ones on the west side this morning 'til after lunch. We could see a few cars out the other side, and then the sails. We'll drive over and have a look tomorrow.

We had a SSE wind again 15-25k+, so the flat was hard to find, and the gusts elusive.Very choppy out in the middle, made for hard sailing back out for the next run. Good chatting with Hamma and Daffy today. Gradually getting better speeds, but really hoping for a more cruisey day for a change, and maybe some flatish water. 79,27,5.5.

Lake George, SA, AU. Third day and didn't realise how tired my arms were until I went out, so a short session. More comfy on a 5m as it was still very windy. So happy about my speed as a short and easy session and still did a higher 2 second than I had done before I got here.

Belated congrats to Pete and Anton for speeds and PB's yesterday and today. Can't do posts til the next day owing to crap reception back at the tent, so posting from Pete's digs. Thanks !!

Nice sessions from our buddies back home.Appreciate the comments and wish you guys were here.I'm sure you would be bustin'out some great speeds too. Just as an aside.

I'm hearing a few comments from the regulars and locals that conditions in general are not as good as they have been in the past. Most of the problems relate to the lack of new weed growth on the lake.(Not the lack of wind!) Water is brown and muddy looking compared to the past years and the really glassy flat water is not happening.(yet) Despite that, it still is worthwhile. Most newcomers are able to score a PB or too. Still waiting....
