Enough wind to get big momma out for a cruise. Could have easily downsized in the end but battled on with the beast. Refreshing
I did see Shaw out there too.

Big gear test at 5pm with Norts, no sooner hit the water than the wind increased to 15 to 20 knots.
Surprisingly the Brute worked really well and the new sail/SDM mast combo was awesome. Finally got myself decent light wind kit.
Only the two of us out - heaps of fun.

Its been a while since we have had some wind and the afternoon school run resulted in a late evening on the river.
I only got down there after 6 and there was only 3 other lost soles on the water, lots of fun in the gusty wind which moved SE and made getting back to the car park tricky.

3590 days ago Melville - IS101, CR7.5, Drake 42. More wind than I had expected and was way over finned often. Had a little bumper scratch with AUS64 but no damage luckily. Was a shame I didn't get to say hi to Lunny & Tailwind.

Denham, WA, AU 105 rocket, 6.5 easy, 36 and 31 jp weeds. Wind picked up as the sun was closing. Instead of wasting time to down size i downsized the fin to 31. Stillchoppy there but great to see fish and rays running away. Sea grass outside later started to bunch up and the only way to get it off was to stop and remove it. 3 locals on older gear were really friendly. One had a straight fin and he was just looking for weed empty patches. Last hour was the hardest. I noticed water sipping to GPS bag. I used duct tape to seal the opening repositioned the bag. I would stay longer in Shark Bay but it was time for us to go back. Data is from Rspeed. Just one blister under a glove on my baby skin.
