Fun day out on the lake with Pete, Andy, Greg, Vindr, David Sandos and a couple of others. Pretty rough at times, with some killer gusts.

Golden Beach, QLD, AU   Finally we got some WIND!!!!! Very happy with the speeds (5x  made it into my top 5) as was high tide and only a very short patch of flatish water otherwise wild and choppy.20-30 SSE.  Lovely clear blue water with schools of fish swimming around and jumping in front of me! Started with 3 runs on the F2sx and 5.5 managed 32 knots but way overdone so finally got to use the 5.0 again been a few years!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the speed board probably been as long!!!!!!!!! with the 25 casper fin. Numbers from GT31.  If I can be bothered I will updated figures (when Dylan get software working) as was using the GW52 which was showing slightly higher speeds.  Fun sunny day and was nice and toasty warm compared to last weekend with a thermal top under the wetty.
