Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

thought I would see if anyone was out sailing today....while I was there I might as well have a sail!

The 25.82 felt like 10 compared to yesterdays effort although the wind was no where near as strong

and was more southerly...I think!!

RRD CROSSFIRE 102, LOFT O2 6.6, CANEFIRE 38

CA58, Ezzy Lion 6.5, C3 Sting34. Neap tides and small but confused chop. With the showers coming through wind was all over the place. Struggled to snag simultaneous flat water patch and big gust, but managed to crack an open water 30 so happy with that.

Not sure about the fin choice, struggled to point high in lulls, then too stiff when powered up in the choppy stuff. Will need to experiment a bit more to find the sweet spot.

Got Hargs going on the modified JP FSW 103 and Ezzy 6.9 - being a soft kiter he called it early after shining himself on tyhe rail although for someone who hasn't windsurfed for many years he went okay..  Wind was pretty solid when rigging but once on the water it was very on off and towards the end had dropped off significantly.  Was like a midget at a urinal - on my toes as there was a lot of debris floating on the surface.  Pulled out of one broad reach when I spotted a sizeable branch right in my path.  Nice to get a solid session in after what feels like an eternity.

Green Island QLD!

Another great day at the island, sailed with Bindi, Cam and Nigel again. Wind wasn't as strong as yesterday but the tide was spot on for small fins.

Used the speed board all day so pretty happy with the alpha and hour.

Isonic SS 49, Overdrive 6.2 and Cams Tribal 23 Speed weed!(awesome fin, need to buy my own!! Thanks Cam!)Cool
