Primbee, NSW, AU

Was on the water by 11am, a great turnout again, the wind stronger than yesterday but still not that consistant and it was a bit choppier to. But line up a gust and it was awesome. The NM run was at a good angle from the south end, it just took a few goes to get a full length run with wind.

Primbee, NSW, AU Westerly with a bit of S in it. Normal gusty wind up to 35 knots in the best gusts.

The day started off cold, wet & miserable but soon the weather cleared and I was on the water by about 10:30. The wind wasn't quite as strong as expected but the water was a bit higher than yesterday and the wind chop wasn't too bad. I was starting to get into the groove and snagged a lucky NM, but then I hit something submerged and cracked the deck of my board - doh!Cry Sounded like the bang when you break a mast!

Not sure what I hit - no nicks or dents in  the fin - maybe the Loch Illawarra Monster! The long walk back home was painful but I was keen to not get too much water in the board. A MT repair job I think!!Smile

I went back out after lunch on the little board but the wind had largely departed by that stage. The couple of squirts on the W44 were great! I suppose I will have to use this board some more until the W49 is repaired.

Great to sail with the Speedsters + Rick + Gustbusters, and good to meet SeaSkip.

Primbee, NSW, AU    I used the 81l JP SL and was never in control, hanging out too far, tried the old F2 axxis 258

which put me over the fin and much better,  some big SW gusts today, 34kts max on the meter.

Primbee, NSW, AU

Second day on the water so thats a win right off the bat. Not what i was hoping for in the 2 sec department but, 40 is just a number man! (opens a beer). Just as i was getting comfy with a couple of changes the wind died. Suprised to see the NM, bonus! Big suprise considering I'm pretty sure I spent part of that run skipping on my butt lol. Condolences on the board Bushy Cry at least you're ok! There's been some carnage the year, 2 boards 2 booms 2 masts just off the top of my head. Lets hope thats the last of it, but not likelyUndecided

Great to see another great turn out.

No chance we could get on the water again tomorrow too????

Sorry to hear about your board Bushy, wonder if if it was the same Loch Illawarra monster that snapped my board. Gotta agree with you mate, just give it to MT he'll make it faster.

Hey Bushie - were you out near the white and yellow buoys 200m off shore from the paddle steamer? I hit something there last year and threw me over the front. I give that buoy a 50m clear radius now

Well done guys big effort for the last two days, great PB's Matt and Stu and awesome top speed Mark T and Glenn. Haven't been able to make it due to being up the coast to Port Maquarie as my son was competing in the NSW State Surf Championship. Just got back. Again, well done guys!

Stu Matt great nautical miles with PB's attached.

Looks like there was only one lane on the highway and it was the fast one taken by everyone.

Bushie sorry to hear about the board damage, at least you weren't injured. .

That long painful walk back while everyone is ripping around in the wind is worse than the damage I think.

Great work team!

Bad luck on the board bushy.  Can you pinpoint the exact latitude/longitude where you hit the object from your GPS trace?  With accurate GPS location, it shouldn't be hard to find it and remove it, like I did for that tyre some time ago.
