Lake Illawarra, 5-25 knots

JP SlalomII 84, Loft Switchblade 6.3, 20cm MUF delta

We spent more time standing around than sailing today. The lake was really low! Lots of grinding on the fin. I followed Terry on bearaways around behind the wharf. Fast, but shallow!!!

Amazing how good windsurfing can make you feel. Been months since Ive been out with family stuff and felt sooo good to be in the straps and planing. Lots of standing around at times waiting for wind.

Very off & on WNW and super shallow. Scraping the bottom a lot, scary as. Wind picked up big time at stages. Was great to catch up with the boys, been awhile. Like Wayno, some of my categories are wayoff. No match fitness but know I did heaps more than that. Oh well, it was just nice to be sailing again. Warm as too, very pleasant arvo.

Falcon 112, Evo IV 7.0, 25 weedy.
