Fantastic sail off the beach in bright sunshine & warm seas .The southern arm of the reef on Double Is was really working today in the last 20mins or so before it got too shallow.
Man,you lose sailing condition quickly when you've been off the water for awhile -sore all over right now ...
Bumped into James from the tablelands on Double Is today -he was supposed to be attending a wedding at Palm Cove
Great to be sailing again -last 6 weeks or so has been unusually quiet windwise for FNQ.

Had a nice play on the big board but has been so long in between sails this year I was really rusty.Tried to get Jaffa going at the end but wasn't enough breeze. Still nice to see a 30 on the big board.

Great sail with Phil. A touch lighter than yesterday, but comfortably powered on the CA58, Ezzy 6.5, Sting 34. Swapped to the tribal WS25 for the last 15 minutes or so and got another knot and a half on the flatter shallows, even with easing breeze. Heaps of potential in that fin.
Sailing fitness is starting to return after 3 days in a row, shame the hands are too soft though.
