3333 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Should have got there early. Turned up and Andrew was out looking comfortable on small gear. Waited for coucil to quickly mow our section and everyone started to turn up. Way out numbered by Macquarians! Johnny, Byron, Huey, Sue, James and Tony. Tibor and Bruce turned up when we came in. Everyone was complaining about being underdone. Size up on board and sail would have been better but still fun. Southerly round 12/20+ maybe. 6.6 Koncept 92 Patrik slalom 19 Delta sl. Go Marauders!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROTHMAN YOU BLOODY BIG LEGEND!!!

Could have been epic , southwesterly wind greeted us when we turned up , tide was low at 10.30 so always going to be a challenge , wind swang a little right at the end , but still very rough and hard to get downwind , walked a lot and tacked a lot so couldnt use the speed board , Sailed with Phil and Adam , still a lovely spot just didnt turn on for us today .

15-18kn SSW. Needed the 113 today today as it was so tough trying to get my heavy arse planning as the run was so deep and bumpy and not a lot of wind. Persevered though on selected gear due to laziness, which is becoming a consistent trait. Knee blew up again after the second run, but managed to squeeze out 5 runs and then called it quits as it was aching like a bastard.
Will probably be spending quite a bit of time off the water to get the knee right, so will look to sell off some gear to rationalise what I have and restock next year. Will list anything I am selling on the Marauders Facebook page if anyone is looking for gear.
Sailed with Mark and Phil.

Southerly belted through early and We hit the SC mid morning.Rob measured 30k gusts and I got 24k gusts from the SW choppy and already shallow. Met up with the rest of the guys, Aza, Andre, Pete and Bill as well as Chris.
Had a B& J session to start with Aza hitting it first with NP and JP Qaud wave gear and busting out some forwards and great duck gybes. Nice!! I tried out this old Naish wave quest 254 Rob teed up for me and Rigged a bit too big with 5.0 Poison. Footstraps disintegrating quickly and in the wrong place so couldn't settle.Need to sort it out a bit better.
Second session wasn't very fruitful with the wind very holey and hard to line up a good gust. So flat and shallow at dead low tide but stacks of weed. Enough excuses. Nice to get wet and planing anyway. SW 20-20k then SSW -S 15-25k. Was all over by 2.30. Naish 254, then 79, 27, 5.5.
