Second good day for me at Luderitz. wind was not as strong today, around 25-35 knots. Did my best 500m so far, 47.37 knots officially. Little tired from yesterday and saving energy for tomorrow.....

Rowena...chop city OR, USA

LB5.6 NSP80 VFV29

Couldn't let Boro's excellent numbers go to waste so popped out for a quick session between rain showers. Bumpy as heck at Rowena and at speed the river seems so narrow. Knocked a 35 out on the first run so must be doing something right!

Awesome speeds Boro! Kick ass tomorrow! It must be quite a rush flying down that trench. Cool

Great numbers Boro!

Roo, very nice for Rowena, especially since neither the Rowena or Doug's recorded windspeeds were very high today!

It's all a team effort Barton, had to back Boris up so we got a jump on those East coast speedies this month...they almost had us with our pants down in October!  Wasn't  super windy at Rowena but the usual gusty stuff, surprised myself with the numbers to be honest, wasn't expecting much. Hopefully your new gear is in this week and you are back on the water soon. Need you to rack up some good distance and nautical mile numbers so we can stay ahead in the race this month. Only two months left and it's all to play for.

Roo, Equipment is scheduled for pickup Tuesday PM. Wind is forecast to slowly start becoming reasonable on Wednesday or Thursday, maybe even gust to 20 by the weekend. Hopefully will get a chance to see how well I can handle the 7.8 (biggest sail I've ever used...).

With luck, this will be a short doldrum and decent winds will return and become consistent. If you think conditions look OK for you, please send me an email ping so I can provide some sort of backup, preferably email the day before (remember, I'm 4 hours ahead of you 'till next Spring).
