Andrew Haigh (50238km): Coal Point, NSW, AU CA70 and TR8 7.6 Funny little NE, not much at Coal Point but plenty over at the islands. Thought I had got over 30 today but KA72 robbed me. Still happy with the Alpha
Bruce Healey (24292km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Was a bit concerned that after saturday's formula there were a couple of body bits that did not hurt. Fixed it! Beautiful arvo at Peelie, started NE & half way through moved a bit NNE which was a bit rougher & angle not so good. Heaps of people out, you know who you are, a toohey's old calls me away & still watching the rugby the result of which I have contrived not to hear all day. RS1, 6.6, 23 weedie

sboardcrazy (25098km): 15-19kts Ne Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- Naish 6.4m Bullit + 79ltre falcon + 17cms delta then 20cms delta for a few runs. Thanks to Tibor + Pete who helped me set up the 'new' 6.4m.I didn't have an alum key to fit so the battens still need adjusting. Rotated ok but it would pop into place fully once a gust hit. I didn't have the energy to pull it on and also didn't realise it wasn't fully popped. Found it hard work. Didn't feel my upwind technique was very good today as just not enough energy + didn't trust the 17cm delta in the 6" chop as I kept spinning out.Need more practise . Once in the 'run' I didn't feel I could push on the fin or pull the sail on in case spun out.Didn't really feel powered up mostly often out of the straps going upwind. Happy with the gybes. Many planing out .I expected a better alpha than that. For once there was wind on the exits. Came in and changed to the 20 delta for a few runs and much better! I didn't need the little one as not really going shallow enough anyway. I'd forgotten what a bugger of a place it is to get in & out if you don't pick the right spot. Ugh..wading through thigh deep weed holding the heavy rig up...Tweaked a muscle in my lower back so will have to be careful for a while. Heaps out. Mick, Milsy , Frothie, Tibor , Bruce, 2x Pauls , Greg , Ray, Pete + lots of others.Getting too hot for a wettie. Really starting to pick up in the last few runs and after finished.( 20kts +)
adamhatfield (2074km): Nice sail when the nor-easter came in. No one out whilst I was out there. Bit disappointed with the speeds but it was pretty choppy. Neil Pryde Atlas 6.2, Rocket 115 Coal Point, NSW, AU
Byron Mcilveen (64411km): Coal Point, NSW, AU tr11 7.7, rs4, v max 39. launched at coal point light but alot more wind at the sand islands it was nice.
Tibor (18017km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Well...well...what an afternoon that was .Smiles everywhere. Sunshine, godd N/E ...what more do you want! Had a great time up in the shallows scooting down hill. Used the delta19 isonic91 and overdrive 7m. Felt just great. Not the best results but maybe next time. EXCELLENT result for Bruce! I can see that I have to stop coaching him!
Hugh (11029km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU |
