Windsurfunstu (6659km): Primbee, NSW, AU Well the holy grail eluded me yet again. Still had a blast. Heaps of water, there for heaps of chop, but not that I'd complain about a 40+ westerly in November. Albion park maxed out at 47! Thats 2 sessions in one week! Thats rear at the moment. Thanks to Poppy for watching the Rugrats. Also thanks to Gav for deriging (saving) my kit Id left tie to the trailer while I was getting the never ending one last run Thanks mate! TERRY (45356km): Primbee, NSW, AU A very strong W to SW wind this arvo that kept shifting around. 32kt gust on the permanent wind meter, but stronger than that in places, pretty smooth between wind changes, but also choppy when it went SW. Expecting a full carpark when I arrived at 12.30 but only Stu, Jase and Gav, I went into survival mode. Two of the spray tan boys turned up later but could not find the third, maybe getting a Brazilian? Tabou 95l Rocket Loft 5.3 freeride (only one GT-31) thats 4 days sailing, SE, NE, NE and W-SW. phew.

Matt R (17286km): Primbee, NSW, AU. Isonic 86, SW 4.8m Revo, BP 23WS. Watching the trees getting blown all over the place from the windows at work, also watching the clock. Got down there around 3pm and it was just a mass of white water and spray. Thought I had finally got the chance to rig my smallest sail, had it for nine months and still hadnt used it. In the time it took to rig and get on the water, conditions went from ball tearingly ballistic to 'taking great grandpa fishing in a row boat', kind of stillness. That was it, done I missed it. Waited around for the southerly front to come through, but that was fairly mild also. I still had fun though, its been a great couple of days. | ||||||||||||||||||
TEX (5337km): Primbee, NSW, AU Not the best day out on the water. went way too big at the start and got smashed up on my first run, breaking my boom, having to walk back, drive back home, collect more gear and rerig... back on the water to try and hang onto a very gusty and strong westerly, seabreeze reading 47k at peak. |
