Off shore today but any wind will do. Tried a new fin and liked it. Was good to get a workout and the 6m was rigged just right and cut through the shakers nicely. Tricky got there later and was fast, faster than me. Am happy with the alpha. Hard to get a good NM with the wind WSW and i didn't go in the deep. Too dangerous for this little black duck. Richard went out there though and might have a NM .
Great day

3409 days ago HArd day at the office, felt like a gutsy gusty winter westerly, some big bullets lifting me off the water but then I realised I had rigged the 6.3 & it was Summer , Was ballsy sailing from the chop on the smoother then hitting the rought stuff Was superize that there was any good numbers to be had, realy had to work for it. Hoppy was on the water early & looked like he had the best of the flattter water he all ready had a 34 on the dial, so I took a big spoon of cement & went for it & jagged a good run. First outing with a new Lockwood/Tribal Super Weed Speed 27 rock solid but a bit too much lift in the gusts, maybe just too much every thing Isonic 87 Loft 6.3 Westerly off shore gusty.
But after harvest sailing was a great work out / buzz / revive Sailing is

Thommen 115, 6.5 Gator (airport readings lied 18-24) ended up 20-30 sw. Just below the top end of the gusts was really good. Lulls were bad.
Went for a sup sail in the morning out at Fisheries while the wind sorted itself out. Great fun that lasted a bit longer than planned so the blasting about overpowered was cut short.
Everything felt really good only a few controlled spinouts after a bit of air that slowed things down. Slop was a bit cranky at the ends of the runs but a bit smoother on top of the tape weed in the middle.
Still have to get a smalleer board for these days.
