Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Well...well...the result doesnt reflect the fun factor.

It really was very enjoyable . I hope the others got better numbers as they usually do.

However without me they wouldnt look so good

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Very nice arvo, southerly, pretty gusty but the water was as flat as Peelie ever gets,ie, billiard table smooth. Bit of a mystery why 35 knots in a s Or SW or NW feels like you hanging on for grim death which is just around the corner whereas 37 knots in NE feels like a relaxed cruise & can I have more wind please. Bunch out, Johnnie, Tiba, Andrew, Matt, Sue, Pugs & a special guest appearnce by Greg K.

15-23kts S Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- 6.4m Naish Bullit - 79ltre falcon + 17cm delta

Well I had almost the same gear up as Andrew but 5 kts slower.. guess it's more technique than brute force to get good speeds..UndecidedEmbarassed Disappointed with the speed 30.9 on GPS as powered nicely + super flat water...

I wore out quickly as it was a gusty wind. I was only really powered in the gusts and didn't trust the delta to put too much force on it although I only  spun out once. The one run where I thought I'd follow Andrew to see what I was doing wrong. I didn't get far as I spun out as I took off and ended up under the sail..

I think today would have been more fun without a GPS as the runs were fun but then I'd look at the GPS and 'only that??". Got the top speed on my first run.

Byron, Andrew & I . Later Mat , Milsy , Pugs and someone else.Looks like it may have come in after we quit although I went for one last run and at that time the angle was RS and it was very gusty in the flats.

Not having much luck with the Bullit- eased the batten off but it still wouldn't rotate ( looks like I need to modify the cams) + the end of the boom batten broke..grr

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU exocet RS2, maui TR11 7.7, 24 carbon home made delta.

nice fun cruisy sail by myself for most of the time then Sue and Andy came out for some fun too.

quick sail before going to work.

Never got realy powered up wind never got over 20 but did seem to be building and got better after I went to work.

very happy with that alpha (with the GT31) LOL with a 7.7 and big fin underdone I recon with the flat water and heaps of wind its ripe for the picking.

Budgewoi Lake , nsw , au                                              Ka Race 7.9 , JP 68 , Delta 21

Had the sail rigged terrible which made for hard yakka . 3 sails in 15 weeks isnt ideal but awesome to be on the water again and

catch up with the budgie crew .

Bruce maybe its that in a NE you are using a decent fin while with the others you're going out in chop with a delta? I know I feel more on edge with them..Thanks Matt.looks like the wind came in for you?
