Happy New Year. A nice little sail to kick the year into gear anddust off an average hangover.

Nice warm water, reasonably flat and board shorts. Hopefully there are a few mor days like this.

The wind was a bit gusty. You could be in a 15-18 gust and then see only mirror glass in front. Good old Paddy 145, North Warp 7.3 and a 36cm weedy although that is prob a couple of mm shorter. Wind 5-18 or better at times SSE.

The tide was really low today soa bit shallow on the ends for gybes. It might be worth a crack later if the Seabreeze kicks in a bit better and if I can get out of a dinner date.

Stansbury, SA, AU 16=22+ knots

Wasn't sailing till Saturday but had to deliver a car to Stansbury. Thought a quick hour whilst the missus did her delivery was in order.

Bit of weed around, attatched to the sea floor made it a bit frustrating today but found some speed later on the spit. Simon and Anthony headed out as i was coming in. Met Yetti and Nicola rigging on the lawn. Jay was sailing too. Watched them sail around and called it quits, to save some energy for Saturday. See you tommorow

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Short sail in the chop. Rigged the 5.5 but too may holes. Came in and put on the 6.3. By the end of the session was overpowered. Need another mast so I don't have to re rig when need a sail change. Major crash coming in close to shore which did me in. Ribs a bit sore at the moment. Luckily only hit the water and no gear damage.
