Ricketts Point, VIC, AU

Sweet little bump and Jump session. not sure why I wore the GPS but hey.  Got windy in the end and typical Ricketts Point short ugly chop but there were a few great ramps near the reef. Was well powered up with the 4.7 as flat as it would go. Loving the little Tabou 3S for these conditions and the 2017 Killer 4.7 proto worked just great.  I have a big smile on my face.  It could be on again tomorrow, my body can't take 4 days in a row!!!

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

A quick session at 45 with lots of crew out. Solid 25kt with 30kt gusts and flat water, which made it perfect Cool

Started to rig the 5.8 but grabed the wrong mast, so I swapped the sail instead and went for the 6.6. "Go big or go home" Perfect choice brain, powered in the lulls and excited in the gusts Laughing Spent the arvo chasing the crew around the inlet on the slalom board, thought about the speed board but just didnt want to stop. The 6.6 just so solid and stable.......fun arvo.

First day of what looks like a 4 day Easterly. 20-25 knot with the odd brief gust to high 20's. The wind had a bit of ESE in it and as always when this is the case it was affected by the North end of the Prom making it very gusty and swinging wildly from ENE to ESE.

It was quite a low tide and the usual Easterly speed run was a bit too broad. Just as well as it was also too shallow. We took some shovels down to knock off the shallow bits but we got carried away sailing and neglected it. Funny about that....

It was pot luck to get a gust from the right direction in the shory flat section and I only got a couple but they were really nice.

Great to speed sail with Peter J again! Laughing

Excellent fun threading the needle through multiple small sand islands on the east bank at Sandy Point with Daffy. As usual I couldn't keep up with the Masterblaster!

A couple of sphincter tightening moments where I felt the fin touch the bottom but no crashes luckily. As Daffy breezily told me, "you only need a 1mm clearance from your fin" !
