Albany, KARace 6.3, RRD xfire 90, delta 19 I decided to have a go at beating my distance PB, since it's not often that you get a day where it is windy all day. I got on the water just before 11 am and calculated that I needed to do 113nm to beat the record. This equated to about 80 laps over and back in the bay at Lilacs. After 40 laps I stopped for a lunch break and then back out again. The last 10 laps were a killer and my hands are very sore. Luckily Steve unrigged for me.

That distance is amazing. Huge effort. Congratulations. Getting your gybes nailed has made a huge difference for you.

Wish I could have been there with you. I had a week off but unfortunately I was exiled on Rottnest with no sailing gear. Back to work this week.
