Felt a little bit awkward. Just starting to get my groove and then put my knee through the second panel of np 7.8 sail..ooops ! came back in and changed to the 7.0 sail. Great to get out, sun was shining

A unsatisfactory day at Fangy's. Marginal wind at best and it started off as a shambles when I walked the rig out through the stinking weed and realised that, in my boom change, I'd forgotten the harness lines....a minor issue. So I'm kneeling in groin deep water, scratching around like an old coot ( which, I realise sadly, that I am) reattaching my lines only to look up and find that I'm on Candid Camera via our intrepid reporter, Fang "In Your Face" Man, who has tip-e-toed his way out just to get valuable footage as evidence of incompetence. Suffice it to say that money changed hands. Finally got going but no power, no speed and the large weedy was trolling nicely and hooking up at random. A few runs but returned to base for a sail change to a larger acreage sail which was better but still no good. Sad face.

3227 days ago Fangy's with Wazza and Tugger. Not sure whether the head cold or late night sapped me of all my go go juice, but today was a pleasant cruise at best, but at worst it felt a bit like too much like hard work.Still great to be out with the Tug and see him gblowing the dust off big board. Wazza seemed to be motoring today on the downhills and I couldn't catch him on the QEII. The only disappointment was his insistence on not blowing off a limb. All very cruisey today but not a top ten I am afraid.

Today was my wedding anniversary, 40 years since I married my child bride, when I found out their was no takers sailing today in the ocean, I thought good excuse to spend day with my honey Bunny. But the trooper she is she said no babe, you go and have some fun on the deep blue stuff, yay. Sailed on my Pat Malone, I have to say I was loving it, everything was just so right, wind was lighter than yesterday but again so much fun scooting down through the swell, I love this shit. Didn't push my luck with said child bride, had a very nice little sail and then home for happy hour and rumbos. As my mate Herby says, life's good.
Guys when it's not ideal on the smooth, get down to Blue Bay, nice grass rigging area, beautiful clear blue water and freash water showers.
The other good thing about ocean sailing is there are nice girlies on the beach, none of Fangs old worn out tattooed reverse g-sting wearing ocean cruise crowd.
