Lyds (10267km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU - Formula 159, 10.0 Severne SSR, and a fin. It's a shame you can't get your wipeout speeds because I had some whoppers. 20kts max speed then swapped to the RS4 for a quick dash.
sboardcrazy (25430km): 10-18kts Ne Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- forecasat was for only 10-13kts so rigged the 7.8m + 115 xcross. Played with the adjustable outhaul and moved the cam cleats inboard more. 1st time I've used the new chinook setup. People were coming in saying it was 17 - 18kts so I changed boards to the 89ltre falcon. Could have changed to the 7m too as overpowered a lot and hard to get upwind ( underfinned with the 19cm delta).Hard work but the bearaways were fun! Felt like over 30kts .The weed must have a lot of drag. Outhaul worked great. Pulled it on tight to work upwind ( overpowered) then bagged the s..t out of it off the wind.. really noticed the differenec! Even remembered to pull it on before I gybed.. Almost came in to change down from the 7.8m but didn't want to waste the wind. unusual to have more wind on the water than showing at Norah graph! James Farley (12772km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RS Formula, TR9 11.0, Deb R13 - Wind E 12-18 knots Pretty hectic day of racing at Marmong. The sailing club around the corner decided to run a state championships for 50 Cherub sailboats right on top of our formula course. Managed to get a few races in, but had a few stacks and near misses in the choppy, windy conditions. Won a race in front of Barry, so it was a good day
Mick Saunders (12263km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE around 18 knts, Very busy on the water due to state titles sailing club . As usual their marks right in front of our club house. Fifty plus craft racing flat chat in close confines was a bit tense at times. Still a good day had by all. Only travelled 10 ks. My body tells me different. GeoffS (8233km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Formula159 Maui TR7 10.0 Wild days sailing at Marmong with stacks of skiffs everywhere. Made for some scarry moments. All up a nice days sailing with the boys till I shoulder charged my boom. Ouch. Luckily the boom survived to sail another day.
