Great fun little sail on the morning tide with Bindi and Cam. Wind was a bit stronger than forecast which was a very pleasant surprise!

Used 2014 Isonic 90, 2012 Od 6.0 and Viper 32

Always a good sign of wind strength when the eagle rays launch and get blown backwards. Disappointed to only get a few runs in before it got too shallow for me - but happy to be able to post a few runs over 20.  Lots of wildlife all weekend.

Fantastic day with morn /afternoon sessions .

Started on the Xfire 105 but was powered up enough to drop down to the Iso 80 Tribal Sw 27 RSR E 6 7m2.

Happy with the numbers as hands/body still sore from yesterday .

Kel /Bindi missed the afternoon session -230 boat back .

Stoked !!

Underdone and under finned so had trouble getting comfortable.  SE has only just kicked in on dark so hopefully tomorrow arvo will provide better conditions.

Sort of sailed with Freddy today (he was somewhere downwind).

Port Douglas, QLD, Went to Kurramine Beach for a well earned brake, and to maybe get a good sail..Had a couple of light wind sessions on big gear, a bit of pleasent sailing but thats about all..Woke up early this morning down there and the tide was in with a solid 20kts blowing was keen for a good blast..But it didnt happen as i was told i had to go home so left feeling a bit 'ripped off.'.. Decided to go and have happy hr in my own back yard ,four mile beach..Dusted of 97lt Isonic with 7.3m North Rig and sting 40 fin..Havent been on this board for 6 mounths and had forgotten how much i like it in a 15 to 17kt off shore breeze..Had the tide from hell running till dark and had to stay hard on the wind the whole time,as i am not interested in slogging back up the beach to gain an extra kt or two in speed...Wind got cranking up to maybe 20 kts out the back  in the last quarter, but i was getting a bit to shagged to do mach about it in a rough sea,,Couldn't realy stay powered up all the way through my gybes today..not sure why.. maybe a bit rusty on small board..Was worth rigging up for..Would be good to know when the next GI session is on..Cheers Ed
