Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Rigged 5m. Too small. Bogging most of the time, waiting for a gust. Crashed, dinged board, so came in. Heaps out.

Well another fantasic morning out on the lake!

And if it wasn't for a few decimals it would be showing 30 knots on the score board! Yell Anyway unfortunately I had to cut the sailing short due to an eye issue, not the eye of the wind that is, but something in my eye!!!

Great to see everyone out having a blast! Can't wait to try my new Delta fin I got off Mehore!!

Until next time!!!!Laughing Yeeeeeeeeeeew!!!!!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU bloody windy and bloody freezing today WNW 25-35+ knots.

NP 5.3 Zone + CA SL55 + 19cm Delta

Way overpowered in the gusts, got picked up and slammed twice, the second time hurt as I landed on my left side while in the harness and damaged the GT 31 so it now only has the top half of the display visible, can't get it to come back to normal. Any ideas Matty? Still records OK.

Heaps of dudes out all going very fast, but I got so cold I started shivering so came in.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU BIC one design, 7m Avanti, 24 delta.

Shitty day for me don't like the Avanti compaired with the Maui sails. Did get both feet in straps however had a bad back which only got worse with my small effort. I understand why everyone is keen on straps as the safety and control factor is massive compaired with no straps as is my normal, deffinaitly adding new foot strap possitions to my carbon art! And looking forward to some smaller Maui sails to my gear so I can enjoy the strong stuff!

A big congratulations to Nathan that just missed out on 30 today and also to all the other guys out there getting big numbers, actually a big congrats to anyone out there today was testing a great day for the experienced sailor well done to all. Special mention for Hugh (Lake Mac) so much hussel to change gear to optimise the conditions, fully insperational I hope you got more than the 41.5 I heard you yell out mate.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

FF 89L + 19 Delta + Gun Sail 6.3

That's a good way to put a smile on your face after a shit week.  Got out early afternoon to take advantage of the westerly and there was plenty of guys out already, car park was overflowing.  Thought I was going to be over powered with the 6.3 so I cranked a bucket load on the downhaul.  Felt great on the water everything balanced nicley.  Quite choppy at times especially when the fronts came through.  Stoked with my PB felt like I could have done better, however, I didn't Tongue out

Thanks for the encouragement lads! I must agree, it was a bit of a crappy wind in the moring. I reckon lack of experience is the main reason, but hey, the crappy wind is a much better excuse! Wink

Great going Kiddies. What a good day for naughties! I saw one of your crashes Wayno, looked big although I'm sure your injury doesn't hurt as much as my leg but maybe more than Sue's ankle!
