Great day at Fogland, sunny, warm and windy!! However, the SW wind was rather on the gusty side with 15 to 30+ kts. Started sailing with out going tide, copule hours into it there wasn't much of water left in the cove. Dispapointed with my max speed......

Kalmus and Lewis Bay, Cape Cod. Fun FS session in the morning, then went to Egg Island when wind and tide got higher. Had fun on the first scouting trip on Skate 110/Idol 5.6, but was overpowered after returning with slalom gear. A bit too much south in the wind for good speed, had to stay in the deep. Chris came over with me on the second trip, but bailed out right away because his 7.0 was a bit too big for the chop (although it was orderly and not very big). Can't blame him, I had a hard time controlling the 5.8. It was fun later when the wind dropped a bit, and Nina joined me. I'm a bit disappointed with the top speed, but can't complain about a 10-hour day on the water :-).
