Hats off to any and all who went out today, it was HUGE.

I rigged up but chose to watch and save my energy for another day LOL.

Huge congrats to both of you. Mick, you were smokin', well deserved and thanks for telling me where the little bit of flat was. Good to meet the Salty Pom even if it was standing in 35 knots plus and trying to talk, cracking 30 is a great milestone.

All the other budgie boys were flying.

Now I cant find my GPS although I did find my phone after Mick rang it

Congrat Mick! Well done in tough conditions. Also Nathan! Took photos and videos today - tough conditions even for that. Even with a tripod the camera was wobbling and I played it safe and used crutches walking  to avoid being blown sideways and falling. I had to lean into the wind to go forward so it was  very windy.

Good really as it would have been survival conditions for me if I'd been healthy & sailing so I was happy to be taking pics..

Lighting wasn't great and apparently where i was some of the windiest bits so didn't get a lot of people past. I'll post some today and more as i get time + on the Budgy page in the next week.

 I'm not game to name people as I always get it wrong  so you can name yourselves!

 I have slightly better res versions if anyone wants them and will put all of it on a USB for Mat. Quality isn't brilliant due to large zoom + 30-35kts + wind shaking the camera! More to come + some short videos if my progam works and will produce them grr
