Nasty Gusty Wind Slurry. Had a 2 hour leave pass so had to stay local. Big gusts coming through when I got there so rigged the 5.5m and M112 with 27tribal weedspeed. There was no wind behind the bar due to the 2m high trees now growing on it. Gusts would last about 1 second max, so by the time you saw them it was too late. The 8-12kts in between. Spent a lot of time not planing. Found a couple of very short gusts so the 10secs are very very slow. Better than nothing! Hopefully we see some big numbers from the southerners sailing in the cp.

Quick blast around at Melville in nuclear conditions. A few others out on wave gear and Jesper for a while on his 6.3. Might give it another crack later this arvo.
