I met Dave down at Lake Severne at around 10ish - we'd missed the strongest wind, but still had fun out there with the locals. Gusty, up and down, but sunny, so smiles all round.

CASP50-5.0HSM-GPS-25SSF-50°

First sail since early June for me - very rusty and lacking ant stamina/fitness

The 5.0 was to small but due to a lack of sail time decided to play it safe it was OK size at times.

The CASP50 no quite floaty enough (and I cant turn the Bloody thing) but its suprisingly comfy.

Only attempted a couple of small bearaways wasn't going to but its Primbee and hard to resist.

Nice to sail be out on the water with Mike,

Great to catch up with all the illawarra guys on their local patch Lake ? as Mike calls it^^^

Bloody enjoyed that!!!! Great bunch of blokes, some good wind and some flattish water with some choppy bits too. No winter rubber, no booties and sunny.

Had some problems with GPS (its on the way out) and Matty D from the Smugglers ran my data through Real Speed and KA72 and posted for me, thanks mate. Had some great runs and Ive been told Im going too wide with my Alpha's, dumb arse!! Ill work on that. Love doing slingshots and bear aways on both tacks. 40 was doable today, lots of guys close but just missing something.

Great to catch up with heaps of the boys, everyone was looking good. You locals are spoilt
