Primbee, NSW, AU

ss118 vector 45/28 H2 7.7m

Lightish winds for a while so set up an 8.6m sail which brought the wind in.

Challenging sail to Windang and back befiore returning to the H2 7.7

Fun afternoon at Primbee. It was gusty enough that there were some patches without big chop. There was definitely enough breeze for me to have gone faster. The rig seemed to get very heavy above 37kts, like I'm towing a caravan. Any ideas ? I'm thinking I need a smaller board once the breeze is this good and the water is flattish.

Primbee, NSW, AU WNW up to 35 knots or so.

A fun ++ day on the water in a building westerly. The first hour or so on the iS80 was a heap of fun with pretty smooth water. Great gear combo - very balanced!

After lunch the wind had picked up so I swapped over to the speed board and had a sweet time doing bearaways, trying to pick the right gust and water combo. I finished up about 3pm, just as the wind picked up again, but by that stage I was pooped.

Good to sail with Tez, Al, Chris W and Jetlag.

Fantastic Jetlag - you certainly looked speedy on the water. Congrats on the PB'sCool.

It might be worth getting a better quality fin - I reckon the Unifibre is probably holding you back a bit.Money mouth

Nice to meet you today Phil. Thanks for sharing a few good bearaways in last few hours of the day. Shame about your fin catching a bit of weed!
