Primbee, NSW, AU Gusty WNW, up to 35 knots or so

An early morning blast before work. All alone for the hour I was out in great conditions. Fairly smooth water with the normal "channels" of wind. With the bit of north in the wind it was great sailing towards Windang - 3 or 4 bearaways were possible. A bit of a slog coming back, but still good.

The UFO fin is definitely fast! It is a bit more sensitive to trim compared to the MxR, but generally in the smooth water it is now the No1 for the iS80. Probably the last sail on the R7 6.2m - a good send off!

The guys started arriving as I was derigging - I hope you have a good session

My first GPS post, Awsome day out, gusty westerly above my pay grade. Was out there with terry, mark and matt. Bushy on his way back to work when i arrived. i thought i could break the 30knt barrier on my first go, but missed out. Was out of control for the runs i did (and loving it) my board was sliding around like i had no fin, not sure if it was lack of fin or more likely lack of talent, might use a smaller board for the next westerly blast. But loving the learning curve and the help the guys give me.

                              The Holfuy green pole had 30kt gusts from 7.00 till 1.30 and max 37.4 at 10.45, calm now.

                               Very choppy and gusty, going down to Windang the best but pretty scarey in the gusts.

                               Tabou 95l Rocket  NP 5.8 Evo6  yes the usual setup and not another 90km.

Quite a good day out there in the westerly conditions but I couldnt quite get it together. Managed to break a footstrap first off easily fixed but then couldnt get comfortable with this fin. Might have to invest in one of those ufo/mxrs maybe. Top alpha Mark, I imagine you'll be dancing hard at the concert tonight.

Great first post Chris, pity I couldnt stay longer. Nice speeds Bushy and quick alpha too

Well top morning/arvo session with some of the team. Great sail after being back from New Cal. Real first sail. Jase Hale thank for loan of the GT 31.

Tabou Speedster 100 2016 + Severne NCX 6.5 2017 + UFO Fin custom = Nudist comfortable. I agree Glen that this fin has potential for a lot more with the cam sails for me .

Really just enjoy sailing and having fun. Had a Nautical drag race with the Silver Fox but he let me win. Thanks Tezz
