Mal who does realspeed is updating the software or busy doing other things. I got the same message from him some months ago and haven't heard back.

I'm new to all of this, what is realspeed?  I have had a GT-31 for about 3 years, but never bothered to join a speed team until now.  Unfortunately, I lost my recent (Prior to 22/12) data when I tried to upload to KA72.  THe distance data was there, but the speeds disappeared.  Nevermind nothing like a new beginning.

thanks 4 the input.ive tried to regester again starting from scratch and so far no refund has come through from pay pal as it did last time so hopfully a reg code will come through.real speed is the  programe to get the divisions off your gps.im not very technical on computers at all but thats what ive used for ages.is there any other way to get data off the gt/31   for the gpstc?

If you have a GT 31 the easiest way is to upload through KA72. You only need realspeed if you want to further analyse your data.

I just upload to KA72.  I can use naviilink too, but it is really clunky so I don't bother.

I'm feeling a bit bummed out today, I'm not allowed to sail today or tomorrow .  About 4 years ago we had a dinner party planned and I decided to go for a quick sail that ended in me arriving to dinner late and in plaster.  Ever since if we have people coming to our house I'm not allowed to sail.  Best solution I can think of is "don't have people over".  Oh well I can go most days so I shouldn't really complain, but today is really windy...

Bummer on the dinner party but best not to mess with fate though. thanks for the info..had no idea about ka72 untill thismorning.its great ive been doing it manually 4 years.! Think ive Definatly been  hiding under a rock somwhere im sure..Ill b back on the water on the first windy day after the 3rd.cant wait and hope to c yas out there....
