GT7.0, XFire102, MUFDelta22/VDelta27. Melville. Gave the GT a run today. Nice and controlled, even as the wind picked up. Pulled out the "big" Vector Delta once the tide came in and got best speeds on that, 'though couldn't pick a gust today.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

RRD Firestorm 101L with 7.0M T-bird & 30 Vector Weedy.

A short blast on a remodelled Select Weedy 26cm which worked well, cranked upwind & handled the 7.0 no worries, a little loose off the wind though Surprised

More motivated today and a couple of good drag races across the rough with Col Cool

7.0 Reflex 7; X-F 105; V-Delta 27...crowded Melville

Just not my day today....started with somebody dinging my Delta fin on the grass then had a monumental collision while doing a down-winder...luckily the other party was also travelling in the same direction but upwind (unfortunately). Nice ding in my board where it hit his mast and snapped the uni joint clean...plus one broken batten but one very sore leg and swollen knee. Thanks to Tailwind and Jay for assistance. It's a wake-up call for sure....there have been many near misses over the past few weeks with many more out at Melville. Just glad the other guy was OK....scary stuff....I estimate my speed at impact to be 32-33 knots...

Oh yeah, and yet another best NM with a gybe half way!

It's amazing how beers take the pain away (for a while at least)

Ibuprofen ad beer work wonders, hope the old muscles mend soon Steve it sure was a scary sight and sounded horrible. Some good speed on an ordinary day though Steve and Jay.

Thanks for the loan of the fin Paul, alot less drag than the freeride fins I normally use
