Whitey76 (4337km): 100L PD, 6.2 OD, 29 WS Best sail Ive had at safety bay, Luke showed me the speed run and managed to link it up with a blast back from Penguin Island to get a sweet NM. Great to have a spot with so many kinds of runs, speed runs, crazy waves and long runs. Safety Bay, WA, AU
Josie778 (1237km): Safety Bay, WA, AU PD F-Cross 102, NCX 5.5, Weedspeed 29. Quick sail at Safety Bay after a busy week. I do love sailing in the ocean, it beats the river any day :) Yay finally hit the 30kt!!!! Max speed was 31.45kts :)
ray gun (14091km): Pelican Point, WA, AU Isonic 130, 107. Overdrive 7.8, Volt44, Cl38. Good fun early as the wind was 15-18. Water state was good. lasted about an hour till the wind picked up. well overdone on the 130. Too lazy to rerig so swapped boards and out for some more arm stretching. Lots of boats around by this time river was pretty messy. Nice to see Troutty and Jc.
Slickmezzie (683km): A great afternoon's sail! Feeling really comfortable - everything seemed to be working! And as a result I managed some PBs! Thanks to Slowboat and Elmo for their sail tuning tips - they were appreciated. Dare I say it; more downhaul - I kid you not. Nice to meet Boz, Evets (from Albany) and a few others. Liptons, Peel Inlet, WA, AU |
