Ant-man (13485km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Carbon Art 96l Naish GP 7.0. Fun easy sailing. Underpowered as it never really kicked in at Budgewoi. Heaps out.
Lyds (10267km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU RS2, 7.8 OD then 7.0 R7 - nice little session in the sun, heaps out.
Bruce Healey (24359km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU A bit NNE today, a little gusty & just not as fun as the usual NE. Heaps of blokes & Sue out. RS1, 6.6, 23 fin, would have been nicer on bigger gear given the dodgy breeze. The NM included 2 gybes!
Greg Kiskarpati (20777km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Warp 7.7 / RS4 / 22 kestrel No broken mast today so happy about that , nothing like forecast but better not complain still good fun
Cluffy (4190km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Isonic 97 & R6 7.8 then JP slalom IX 68 with the 8.6 overdrive. Note to self: don't go full monty on laydown gybes with a delta fin. The fin comes out of the water. I think I might have left a small crater in the bottom of the lake. Very interesting result today! that's a pb for the JP 68 wide well and truly. I've never regarded the JP 68 as an overly fast board. It's more of a medium wind beast. I guess mirror smooth water and actually being powered up a little for a few seconds does wonders. I felt like I was making the wrong call with the JP over the Isonic 97 as the Isonic is only half a centremetre narrower but the JP has a lot more surface area in the tail. The big difference was the lulls. The Isonic was going down like a failed souffle in the lulls were as the JP was still powered up as I got to the next gust. Another lesson learned! I'm kinda stunned and delighted with that speed from my big bummed JP 68! Pity about the wind! I actually brought along my 56 wide and my 6.2 today lol.

Tibor (18068km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Great arvo...of course never enough wind or strong enough gusts just when you`d like it but we will be dreaming of these afternoons when we get in to winter. 7m+90L isonic+19delta

sboardcrazy (25167km): 15-20kts ENE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 79ltre FF - 6m OD - 19 delta Should have rigged for what was there rather than what was forecast underpowered not enough for bearaways or upwind very well..Oh well the ankle has been palying up so maybe that was safer. Needed 6.6m - 90ltre.. The 6.6m KA should be coming this week Well I suppose it's all practise..I finally had a powered up nm but too short and it includes a gybe.. Oh well best for the month anyway.. Tried a few aplhas but underpowered and too patchy. Lots out. It could have been good with the the right combo.. Too much chopped up water with all the boards..I had to try and plan it to get a run by myself so the falcon wasn't bouncing around in someones wake.. Greg , Milsy , Mick , Mat , Pugs , Frothie, Paul ,Michael , Pete , Alwyn ( I'm going to have to loan him a GPS..I saw someone flying down doing a bearaway and had to rub my eyes.. Al! He also flew upwind and beat me upwind ( that wouldn't have been hard today though ) + others.. I was intending to do the GPS event in the chop on Sat but I don't think my ankle is up to it worse luck.. Better than staying homw with 41 degrees..ugh..same again tomorrow..
