15-26kts SW Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - Lake level 51cms at Wallarah creek

RS2 - 6.6m Koncept - 23cms gun 50 weedspeed

 6m OD - 79ltre falcon - 23cm gun 50 ws.

I was going to go for distance but I'm not fit enough..3/4hr on the bigger kit and I was buggered..Embarassed Undecided Loved the way the koncept rotates. The 23cm was a little small but I didn't spinout as I went easy on it. Should have had more downhaul on the 6.6m Best I did on that was 30.14 kts but I was sailing like a sack of spuds..

Switched to the smaller kit and fun! 1st run 33.44 GPS. Did 3 runs over 33 which is good for me. 6-10" chop no flatstuff. What a difference a bit of trimmming does..Undecided I usually have the mast foot pretty far back on the falcon and I hate it in the chop - too harsh a ride and on the edge.. I put it forward 2 cm today..I wasn't sure if that would be ok with the fin but everything went great and I had a ball.

I took a spacer out of the 6m and let the batten off so there were some wrinkles in the boom cam.. A bit better but it still wouldn't click in fully. Resorted to kicking it with my foot when waterstarting.

Tried to kill the opposition off but it didn't work..Wink I stopped with mick and Misly to have a rest . I was upwind and the wind got under the rig and smashed it onto Mick.. He's a tough bugger though...it didn't slow him down..Sorry mate!Embarassed I rarely stop out there to talk so a learning curve..

Hary ride in through the chop. Tempted to go back out with the speedgear but my partners roster day off so did the right thing and got home early. Too tired to be bothered rigging down anyway.

Lyds, Frothie , Milsy , Mick , Nathan ( had a tough time out in the chop ) Rick and a few others.

Coal Point, NSW, AU. 5.6 Hucker 110 Naish then 93 Naish then 4.8 Hucker + 93 Naish. Awesome high wind session off Coalie. I have never seen such huge ramps in the middle of the lake. Way to lumpy for any real speed but heaps of fun.

the mast track plate seem to have strip out

about half way between warnesbay n marmong

that will teach me to sail by myself

Thanks Anita.

Mick I often sail by myself.I try not to think what can happen. Sounds like you need a gear  safety overhaul and upgrade.Actually I should too.Embarassed
